Optional Themes: Arena
Inspiration:
The inspiration for this project is the underrated Custom Robo series, specifically Custom Robo Arena which has a Mega Man Battle Network 2D style overworld instead of the 3D one in the GameCube games.
Background:
This is our first custom project using Godot 4! We really love the engine and were surprised at how quickly we could get a web version working. It isn't perfect, there's some asset loading issues on the 3D side and some resolution issues, so we'd recommend downloading the Windows/Linux version, but you get 80% of the experience in web. First game jam we've done in 6 years! 3D assets are custom, first time learning Blender as well.
Controls:
Overworld:
- WASD to move
- E to interact (talk/inspect/use doors)
- Esc for menu
- Tab for character/inventory screen
3D Arena:
- WASD to move
- Q to launch missiles
- Left click to shoot
- Right click to zoom
- Space to fly
- Shift to hover
- Control to brake
(Note, most of these are reconfigurable)
